Mathemagician Making Mathematics Visible
Krishnadas Paleri is a mathematics educator, teacher mentor, curriculum contributor, educational filmmaker, and environmental learning practitioner from Kasaragod, Kerala. Across 33 years of teaching, he developed practical ways to make mathematics visible, understandable, and connected to everyday experience. His work combines visual learning materials, mathematics labs, games, stories, music, cinema, nature studies, and classroom observation. He has contributed to textbook development, teacher training, graded learning resources, and academic workshops conducted through state and national institutions. Known as the “Mathemagician of Kerala,” he has also produced educational films and documentaries that connect learning with society, culture, and the environment.
